State’s Attorney Robert Harvey Presents Two Awards at CCSO Awards Banquet

On Saturday May 7, 2022, Calvert County State’s Attorney Robert Harvey presented two awards at the Sheriff’s Office annual awards banquet.  The Deputy of the Year award was presented to Master Deputy Christopher Childress for his exemplary work as School Resource Officer at Patuxent High School.  Earlier this year, Deputy Childress saved a woman from choking during the school lunch period.

 

The second award was presented to Senior Deputy Michael Mudd for Detective of the Year.  Detective Mudd was instrumental in solving several major child abuse cases in Calvert County over the past year.

 

The ceremony was held at the Holiday Inn in Solomons.
