ASA Walton Honored by Optimist Club

On July 24, 2023, Assistant State’s Attorney Allison S. Walton was the recipient of the Respect for Law Award presented by the Calvert County Optimist Club.  Ms. Walton was recognized for her outstanding work with the Circuit Court Adult Treatment Program, also known as drug court.  Last week this Program graduated 11 individuals who successfully transitioned from a life-time of addiction to being clean, sober, and crime-free.

 

Ms. Walton has been a member of the State’s Attorney’s Office since 2017.  During that time she has prosecuted misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony cases.  She is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law.
