Hill Pleads Guilty to Murder

On March 28, 2024, Anthony Hill, 28, of Washington, DC, pleaded guilty in Calvert County Circuit Court to second degree murder, use of a handgun in a crime of violence, and unlawful possession of a regulated firearm.  The charges resulted from the August 1, 2023, shooting death of Dakarai N. Milburn in the Yardley Hills subdivision of Prince Frederick.

 

Sentencing has been scheduled for July 1, 2024, before Judge Mark S. Chandlee.  Hill is facing a maximum of 75 years incarceration, including at least 5 years without the possibility of parole.

 

The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Lee Ann Bell and Assistant State’s Attorney Allison Walton.
